How to screen capture: Part 1

Capturing footage while you’re gaming on an PC can be a bit of a pain in the ass to configure, and if not done properly it can really wreak havoc on your frame rates.

The video below is the first in a multi-part series that I’m working on to walk you through all of the options you have for screen recording. My intent here is to show you the basics, to get you screen recording as quickly as possible without a bunch of rambling in the videos.

In this iteration, I’m covering Bandicam and the Lagarith Lossless Codec combination. It’s tried and true, works well and is a very simple setup to use. This video actually showcases a slighly older version of Bandicam, not their latest. I haven’t had adequate time to really test the latest version by the time I made this video, so I stuck with what I know works. Expect a future tutorial to include the latest version of Bandicam in the coming weeks.
